Every organization knows the importance of managing, and improving, cloud spend efficiency. The advent of the FinOps practice allowed cloud operations to become a shared responsibility between engineering, FinOps, and business stakeholders. 

Yet despite the myriad tools available to provide cloud cost visibility, the main challenge still remains: How can organizations graduate from visibility and drive action based on these insights?  

That’s why we created PointFive. Our mission is to provide a platform that serves engineers and FinOps teams alike while enabling a cultural shift within organizations. After all, it’s the engineers who actually touch the infrastructure, and good engineering today means your infrastructure is cost efficient. 

We believe we built a platform that serves engineers and facilitates a culture of cost awareness and efficiency. We’re currently deployed on the biggest cloud environments in the world, and have tens of thousands of engineers and FinOps teams already onboarded to the platform today. 

And we’re just getting started.

We raised $16M in seed funding.

Last week, we announced that we raised $16M in seed funding, led by Index Ventures. This funding round will support our launch into the US as we continue to support organizations in their efforts to uncover frequently overlooked cloud waste and identify opportunities to save up to 30% of their total cloud spend.
